DIY Confocal / Laser Scanning Components

Thorlabs offers a broad selection of components for DIY microscopists interested in constructing custom confocal / laser scanning systems. We have available galvo mirror systems for both small (<5 mm) and large (<10 mm) beam diameters, motorized pinhole wheels with 16 pinholes from Ø25 µm to Ø2 mm, as well as silicon photomultipliers and PMTs for single- or multi-channel detection. In addition, we manufacture a full line of objective, scan, and tube lenses, fluorescence filters and dichroic mirrors, and our Cerna® series components, which are designed for building custom systems.
